The Moose Cafe is nestled in the community of Summit Park in Park City Utah.  The Moose Cafe serves a mix of Peruvian, Mexican and American meals.  Open in April of 2017, The Moose cafe has quickly become a favorite with the local communities of Timberline, Jeremy Ranch, Summit Park and Pine Brook as well as a great stopping destination for many travelers along the I-80 corridor to and from Salt Lake City.  Currently The Moose is open for Breakfast and Lunch Wednesday-Monday from 7am -3pm and Thursday - Saturday we are open for dinner till 9pm with a variety of Peruvian dishes and other specialties.

Rosa Acharte owned a restaurant in Peru  and over 20 years ago left it behind to join her children in the United States.  Rosa always thought about opening another restuarant but it wasn’t until Spring of 2017 when her daughter, Fiorella Acharte, presented her a opportunity here in Park City, Utah.  Together the Acharte’s have helped make The Moose Cafe a great family establishment with good food and good service because it was started by a family.

“Our reward is when the people are happy and like the food,” she said. “That’s what I like. I say, ‘How is it?’ For me, my happiness is hearing, ‘It’s good. I like it. Can I have a little more?’ People in Peru say, ‘Could you give me a little more?’ I love that.”
